2Q ventilation describes the cross-ventilation and source ventilation. If the airflow is laid invisibly in the floor and the air outlets are ideally placed, excellent air cross-ventilation is created.

Source ventilation means that the fresh air is ducted into the room without annoying noises and without pressure, and pre-warmed in the cold season.

Maintenance tip

Special filters in the fresh-air system ensure that the air is clean and pure when it enters the room. In addition to this, the system (the heat exchanger and the pipe system) is protected from contamination and noise-free operation is ensured. This is why the use and regular replacement of the filter is urgently recommended.

Depending on the degree of contamination of the outside air, the filter must be cleaned no later than after six months.

If replacement is necessary, it can be determined on the basis of several signs:
  • increased noise level of the fans in the device
  • visual inspection of the filters or
  • flashing filter symbol on the remote control
If the display on the remote control is not discovered and the filter is further contaminated, the device automatically switches off and only functions faultlessly again after the filter has been changed.
